I feel like my blog is taking a distinctly 70s fashion stance: this was not my intention, I wasn't even aware I was so into the 70's but we'll go with it for now.

I can't get enough of the suede button through skirts that are around at the moment. My love for suede goes back to the 80's when my mum used to rock a lipstick pink suede full length skirt suit... I'm pretty sure anyone else would have been put off suede for life...I must dig that skirt suit out...

So I decided not to go for suede on suede for this look (although never say never!). I love this shirt from Warehouse it goes with everything and is a really nice relaxed fit.  The skirt I picked up in a vintage store in Paris 4 years ago but there are tonnes of fab ones on the high street and they look fab with a simple white tee, a striped breton top, a black polo or a denim shirt so it's mega versatile, a definite wardrobe staple. My sunglasses are cheap and cheerful €6.99 from H&M!

I decided to dust off my dancing clogs to finish off this look! When I read over recent months that Kate Moss was bringing back the clog, my eyes lit up with excitement. I am ruthless about culling my wardrobe on a near monthly basis but for some strange reason I've held on to my trusty clogs for 5 years! They were a Topshop find and I love them mainly because they're high and comfy...two words I would not normally put together.

Again I should have been put off  clogs for life, considering I grew up with these on the wall in the kitchen...a souvenir from my parents honeymoon in Amsterdam...

Mmmmm cloggy!

There are some nice styles on the highstreet at the mo...
